The Issue

Instrument & Controls Engineers are difficult to find as they can pick and choose where they want to work. Our client was looking for an Instrumentals & Controls Engineer for a site in Oregon, an hour or so from any large cities. They also were required to have an Electrical License in the state.

What We Did

Our initial search through our network and resources only identified a handful of local candidates. Networking was going to be a key part of this process. We reached out to the small group of candidates that we were able to identify, and further asked them for referrals.

The Result

We found one candidate that matched all of the criteria for the position.  He happened to have an RV trailer and was willing to work in the remote area for the duration of the construction project.
