May 10 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

Dr. Elizabeth McLean of the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Management will share her research on bottom-up change with the AzHREF community. In this presentation, she will explore questions like: Why do some employees speak up with ideas for change and others don’t? How do leaders create a context that facilitates employees speaking up? What are the consequences to individual performance and career outcomes for those who are willing to speak up? What are the consequences for collective work units when their employees speak up- are employees more motivated and does the unit perform better? And last, what can you do to foster bottom-up change within your own organization?
