St. Mary’s Food Box Distribution @ Knight Transportation Distribution Center

St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance distributes 40,000 Emergency Food Boxes, at no cost, to individuals and families in need each month. A majority of those receiving Emergency Food Boxes includes the elderly, children, working families and the homeless.

TruPath is helping St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance clients by loading a cart of food and assisting them to their vehicle at the Knight Transportation Distribution Center. This is an incredible opportunity to give back as a team.

Girls in Tech: Phoenix Chapter Launch Event @ Irene P. Flinn Theater at the Arizona Science Center

The Phoenix Chapter of Girls in Tech has Arrived and is kicking off their launch with a special screening of the film, “She Started It,” which follows five women over two years as they pitch VCs, build teams, and bring products to market.

Everyone is welcome, and parents are encouraged to bring their tweens and teens. It’s imperative we show the future workforce what’s possible in the world of science, technology, engineering, and math–fields which are woefully underrepresented by women.

Refreshments are provided! Bring the passion and enthusiasm for propelling our future innovators forward.

Objectives:

To promote and provide a means for members to exchange business leads and information.
To encourage expansion and growth of members’ businesses.
To keep members informed about potential business opportunities.
To encourage cooperation amongst members.

What to expect while you attend:
Each member is given the opportunity to give the group information on their company, upcoming events and current promotions. Members pass out business cards and share other literature and information. Each week, a fifteen minute speaker from the group shares a presentation on their business to help identify good leads and referrals for them.
