The Competing Values Framework

After years of research, Kim Cameron and Robert Quinn created The Competing Values Framework to help group organizational cultures into four different types. Kim and Robert’s research finds that most organizational teams fall into one of these four types, and that you can evaluate your culture using their framework. By using tools like theirs (and others) and it will help you align your core values and shape hiring to the culture you want to build.

There are three issues to consider: type (what is your culture), strength (how strong is it), and congruence (how consistent is it).
