Staffing companies can vary greatly in their services, fees and overall process. In doing due diligence as you look for firms, it’s important to find an agency that best speaks to your specific needs.
We’ve complied a list of our most frequently asked questions, with answers. Hopefully these will be helpful as you evaluate potential staffing partners!
Q: Where are you located?
A: We’re in Phoenix, AZ.
Q: What industries/types of roles does TruPath specialize in?
A: We don’t specialize in a given industry. Our niche is in our process. We started over 16 years ago in light industrial/manufacturing . Our goal is to find culturally aligned talent for our clients, and this approach has allowed us to expand into many other industries.
Q: What types of placements do you do?
A: We work on contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placements. We enjoy finding people for unique, one-off roles and also have helped staff contract operations with hundreds of employees.
Q: What areas of the country does TruPath work in?
A: We staff both locally and nationally .The TruPath team is a melting pot, much like Arizona, so we have large networks. Additionally, technology makes it very easy for us to support clients anywhere in the U.S
Q: Do you do international staffing?
A: Yes. While international search makes up a small portion of our portfolio, we are happy to consult clients abroad.
Q: What type of guarantee do you offer? How does it work?
Offering a guarantee is an important way to help our clients feel secure in the hires we’ve sent them. A guarantee varies based on the direct placement search involved. If a direct placement candidate is hired and doesn’t end up working out during the trial period, we’ll find a replacement at no additional charge
Q: How much do your services cost?
For a direct hire employee, there is a one-time fee based on a percentage of that candidate’s annual salary. The specific percentage varies slightly depending on the difficulty of the search.
For contract roles, those that are hired are technically employees of TruPath. Given that, we incur various costs related to that hire (described in more detail below). Our client is billed the contract employee’s hourly wage plus a markup.
Q: What goes into a contract employee markup?
- As employer of record (EOR), we’re responsible for paying for FUTA, SUTA, FICA, work comp insurance premiums, and ACA required benefits.
- If an employee’s assignment ends, we are responsible for the unemployment claim.
- Various internal hiring costs – drug tests, background checks, labor cost of conducting the search, interview process (time), compensation for the Recruiter.
- Ongoing management and reporting of hours/payroll.
TruPath is a partnership minded search firm with a mission to place qualified, culturally aligned talent. As a trusted recruitment source for more than fifteen years, we have the industry knowledge and a proven model to help our partners feel comfortable in their search for a candidate.
