What does your company prioritize?
A manufacturing company came to TruPath for help finding an EHS Manager.
The Client’s Need:
Safety: the number one priority every manufacturing leader and employee should have. For one of our Phoenix manufacturing clients, safety is definitely the priority. They asked for help in finding an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager. The company was experiencing massive growth and the growing pains that come with that. The facility was bringing in several pieces of new equipment and hiring more production team members in order to meet the large orders from clients with good quality product. They needed their new EHS Manager to have a background in the food manufacturing industry. This person needed to be familiar with FDA standards and would be implementing strong policies and structure in a high-volume, high-pressure production environment.
TruPath’s Strategy:
Thanks to a great partnership with strong communication, TruPath recruiters had a very clear understanding of the ideal profile. TruPath recruiters looked for passive candidates who would be able to keep up their current momentum when starting a new role. This involved speaking to many EHS Manager candidates to understand where they were in their career and what would be motivating them to consider new opportunities.
The Result of Partnership:
One of the candidates identified met all of the requirements with experience as an EHS Manager for companies PepsiCo and Frito Lay. He had acquired a significant amount of knowledge working for these large organizations. He also had a long, unsustainable commute. After researching our client and meeting with some key team members, the candidate was extremely interested in moving forward and bringing his knowledge and experience to the team. He could envision the potential of the company and was passionate about their mission and values. Finally and most importantly, safety was his number one priority.
