Temperatures stay well over 100° in Phoenix during the month of July. While the heat increases mid-year, some events take a bit of a hiatus. However, I don’t think the heat is entirely to blame for the lull. Many organizations and associations find lower attendance in the Summer months due to vacations. Not to mention, the kiddos are out of school.
Not all organizations slow down during the Summer, however. TruPath’s July community events are focused on some of our key partnerships in the Valley.

AAED July Luncheon – July 11th: 11:30 am – 1:15 pm
The Arizona Association for Economic Development presents its monthly luncheon. Experts tell “the Tale of GPLET (Government Property Lease Excise Tax) and its Future.” AAED advocates for responsible economic development through professional education, public policy, and collaboration.
WESTMARC Healthcare Committee – July 18th: 8 am – 9:30 am
The Western Maricopa Coalition invites members to join its bi-monthly Healthcare committee meeting. The top two objectives of the committee are to address topics of interest, such as healthcare reform, and asset promotion and development. WESTMARC promotes and enhances economic development of the 15 communities in the West Valley.
VP July Friday Morning Breakfast – July 28th: 7 am – 9 am
Valley Partnership invites the community to join its monthly Friday morning breakfast presentation. This month will feature an expert panel who will discuss how the real estate industry is responding to market challenges and what homebuilders can do to attract buyers into the market. Vally Partnership advocates responsible development and resents the commercial, industrial, and master planned real estate development industry.
